Cinco de Mayo is a time to celebrate Mexico’s heritage. It is also a time to enjoy festive music and delicious food. Mexican restaurants throughout LA are celebrating with food and drink specials. Towards that end, I have assembled a list of fun ways to celebrate Cinco de Mayo. There is something for everyone!

Taco Madness is back! One of LA’s best parties returns to LA Plaza in downtown Los Angeles! Some of the city’s best tacos, micheladas, margaritas, beers, music, and live art will be featured!. A special VIP hour takes place from 5 – 6 p.m. Free general admission is from 6 pm to 12 am.

Cinco de Mayo Margarita Shakedown Party Cruise
Join us on May 4th for Tasty Tacos & Desserts, Margaritas, Cervezas, Latin DJ & Dancing, Mariachi Band and some of the best views of Marina Del Rey on a 3 hour party cruise. Enjoy a teatro performance of “Cinco de Mayo: An American Tradition” by Dr. David Hayes-Bautista in collaboration with Ballet Folklorico Flor de Mayo and Conjunto Tenocelomeh.
