This Sunday, October 21, the EastSide Food Festival returns to Silverlake. The event debuted in 2014 and has steadily grown for the last five years. This year’s impressive lineup includes 35 food and beverage vendors. Many of LA’s best eastside restaurants are there, such as Otono, Kismet, Kettle Black, Café Birdie, Jeni’s Ice Creams, along with libations such as Our Los Angeles Vodka, Boochcraft and Ventura Spirits, and Echo Echo Wine.
The EastSide Food Festival is not limited to food and beverages. Guest appearances from comedians Eric Andre and Eric Wareheim, and musician Alex Bleeker (Real Estate), and emerging indie artists Neil Frances, Alex Winston, and The Radio Fliers.
The event’s programming will also feature live podcast recordings from Yelling about Pate and Snacky Tunes, a discussion on the modern experience of wine hosted by Bon Appetit Magazine wine editor Marisa A Ross, and a Cocktail Mixology Demonstration with Rossoblu Bar Director Brynn Smith.
Tickets are still available online. Tiers include General Admission ($69) and VIP ($95), with non-drinker tickets also available. VIP tickets provide early admission (3 p.m. – 4 p.m.) and access to exclusive food tasting and demos. A raffle will take place during the event to benefit PATH, a family of agencies working together to end homelessness for local individuals, families, and communities.
Free parking nearby.
