The Japanese Food Expo returns to Los Angeles! The annual event takes place on February 2 at the Hilton Hotel in Universal City. Two thousand attendees are expected at this year’s event.
Attendees will experience savory and sweet Japanese foods, taste varieties of sake, grab some delicious Japanese beer, and taste different Japanese beverages from over fifty exhibitors. Last year’s attendees received samples of ramen, okonomiyaki, sashimi, yaki soba, curry and ice cream.
Chefs and industry experts will provide live demonstrations and speak about some of the trends in Japanese cuisine. Last year, Executive Chef Katsuya Uechi demonstrated how to carve and debone and whole bluefin tuna. Imagine doing that at your next sushi party!
