N10 Restaurant is the latest hot restaurant on Third Street in Beverly Grove. They feature multiregional Italian cuisine from chefs Fabio Ugoletti and Nick Parker, formerly of the Bastianich B&B Hospitality Group (which includes Eataly). The new restaurant is named after the number 10 on the jersey worn by the owner, former Italian soccer superstar Alessandro Del Piero.
Del Piero took over the ground floor of the office building at 8436 3rd Street and transformed it into a flowing indoor/outdoor space with a beautiful bar, patio, private dining rooms lined with wine from floor to ceiling, and a cozy lounge area with overstuffed couches and a fireplace.
Fresh bread and Italian breadsticks were served with whipped butter blended with fresh grapefruit and mint. Both of us enjoyed the delicious whipped butter. The server told us that the ingredients they blend into the butter varies.
The Ombro is a Mezcal based craft cocktail mixed with jalapeño, blood orange juice, agave, lime, blood orange bitters. The drink was a bit smoky, slightly sweet with fresh orange flavor. Fortunately, the jalapeño was mild. My wife selected the beautifully presented Gatsby (vodka, cassis, thyme, lemon, and prosecco).
N10 Restaurant’s menu has quite a number of different wines by the glass. Beer is also available including Italy’s own Peroni and Moretti la Rossa, an Italian doppelbock. Their wine list contains primarily Italian varietals such as amarone, barolo, barbaresco, barbera, and chianti.
The charred octopus was beautifully presented and served with fresh broccoli, grapefruit slices, yogurt, and crispy chickpeas. Grilled octopus is one of my favorite things to eat and I was surprised that my wife ate some and enjoyed the dish as well.
I believe a way to measure an Italian restaurant is how well they prepare gnocchi. For some reason, gnocchi is usually dense, chewy, and bland. No amount of fresh parmesan or pasta sauce can make up for this unfortunate experience. Prepared correctly, gnocchi are pillowy and tender, and they practically melt in your mouth.
Fortunately for me, their gnocchi were extremely tender and nearly melted in my mouth. The natural flavors of the mussels, shrimp, and clams, came forward because it was simply prepared with an olive oil base.
Lasagnette is a modern version of lasagne made with extremely thin flat noodles. A bolognese sauce separated each of the nine precisely layered noodles. Biting into this dish was heavenly. The pasta was extremely soft and delicate and the bolognese sauce was delicious. A creamy tasting Barolo reduction sauce surrounded and nicely complimented the pasta.
There is plenty of pizza on the menu and the large entrees include Sea Bass, Lamb Chops, Whole Maine Lobster, Rib Eye Steak and more. Taglieri, the Italian version of charcuterie is also available with DOP ingredients such as Prosciutto di Parma, Speck, Mortadella, Taleggio, and Parmigiano Reggiano.
If tiramisu is on the dessert menu, my wife will order it. She took a taste of it and said “Oh my, it’s the real thing. The ladyfingers were soaked in espresso… so good.” Other desserts included an Italian baba made with Chantilly cream, a dark, milk and white semifreddo with amaretti cookies, and a bombolini with passion fruit curd.
N10 Restaurant is an elegant restaurant that is beautifully designed. It is the perfect place to enjoy an intimate dinner. The service is quite attentive and a number of people are on-hand to make sure that your needs are attended to. All of the seats are padded including the communal high top tables. This is not an establishment that is focusing on table turn-over.

Hi Bryan,
Another great review! The “Lasagnette” and the “Fresh Gnocchi” both look wonderful and that is exactly what I would have ordered. You are right about “Gnocchi”, most places don’t know how to prepare it properly, however, I would certainly order it here.
For a special occasion, this is the place! Dean
