The Patchwork Show is Dear Handmade Life’s bi-annual makers’ festival. It showcases local emerging artists, crafters, and designers alongside delicious food, DIY craft workshops, and live music. The Patchwork Show returns to Marine Stadium in Long Beach on Sunday, Nov 24, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The Long Beach Patchwork Show is their largest festival, showcasing handmade and independent goods from 100+ local makers, crafters, junior entrepreneurs, designers, and food artisans alongside food trucks and crafting stations. It is family-friendly, dog-friendly, and bike-friendly, and attending is free.
Have fun decorating a mini terracotta potted plant at Marigold Art or designing your own holiday cards and gift tags at Card Making. Want a unique stocking stuffer? Visit Jones and Jones to make a DIY retro pin using your favorite imagery from the 1980s or 90s. Be sure to stroll the aisles to visit the many exhibitors onsite.
There is a wide selection of food available, such as the Stop Bye Cafe (Indonesian fusion), Cousins Maine Lobster (Maine lobster rolls), Italian Burger Grill (BBQ Italian fusion), Thai Mex Cocina (Thai/Mex fusion), Crepes Bonaparte (Savory and sweet French-style crepes), and coffee from Carmen’s Coffee Company and Mystic Mushroom Cafe.
The food selection is fantastic! If you like Asian cuisine, check out the StopBye Cafe, an Indonesian fusion truck featuring Indonesian-style chow mein, fried rice, chicken satay, and more! Cousins Maine Lobster will serve their signature Maine Lobster and Crab Rolls, Lobster Bisque, and New England Chowder. Finish your meal with delicious frozen yogurt, such as cookies and cream, at Daddy’s Best Froyo.
The Patchwork Show is fun for the entire family. Attendees can purchase a one-of-a-kind handcrafted holiday gift, and the free craft activities provide entertainment for the children. While there, enjoy the ocean breeze and the scenery at Alamitos Bay Marina. Attendance is free!
