Where to Enjoy National Michelada Day in LA

July 9, 2021 by Bryan

A Michelada can simply be described as a Mexican cocktail made from tomato juice, beer and spices. When made well, is one of the most refreshing and bracingly flavorful summer beer drinks out there. Monday, July 12 is Naitonal Michelada Day and I’ve gathered places around LA that serve a mean michelada.

North Los Angeles

North Hollywood

El Tejano’s Michelada

El Tejano is the place to go for delicious TexMex and tasty Mexican libations. Margaritas are only $3 on Mondays. Michelada are $7 and made with Modelo Especial and a housemade michelada mix.

The Martin family has been serving delicious food and drinks (like this michelada) for nearly ten years. They cook all their chips fresh, so they always served warm. The best part is that their margaritas are strong.

If you enjoy Mexican Mariscos, this is the place for you. Pair delicious ceviche and tacos with a tasty michelada and forget your worries.
